Farmhouse Sheep Wall Art and Canvas Factory Giveaway!

September 4, 2017

I was thrilled when Canvas Factory contacted me to review one of their photo canvases. I've had a few canvases made over the years and I love how they add a new dimension to my family's wall art. But it gets even better than that. Canvas Factory has graciously agreed to provide me with a FREE 16" x 20" photo canvas ($50.00 value) to give away to one of you, my dear readers. (All opinions are my own. Giveaway is open to U.S. and Canada only.) Read on to see my fabulous farmhouse sheep wall art and enter the giveaway!

As much as I love photo canvases bearing special family photos, I've been on a roll recently with planning some farmhouse style decor changes in my home. The changes come on the heels of a forced dining room and living room renovation due to water damage. So right now my focus, canvas and otherwise, is modern farmhouse style decor.

Lucky for me that Canvas Factory has an Image Gallery with over two million images to choose from -- so it was easy to find the perfect farmhouse image to use for my canvas. Considering I've wanted wall art like this for a long time I ended up very happy with the outcome.

Okay, can you stand it? I fell in love with these guys (girls?) from the moment I set eyes on them. Not all sheep are keepers, but these three precious sheep have my heart.

Here's the package upon arrival, boxed up nicely.

Here's the canvas wrapped in plastic. This is especially important in case the package is left outside your house unprotected for any period of time. Our porch does not have a roof so I'm always glad when things are wrapped in plastic!

It's easy to order. Just choose your material (canvas) and then choose your size (16" x 20"). Then once you upload your image (or choose one of theirs from the Image Gallery) you have the option of adding some special effects like sepia or black and white. You can also add text if you like.

I edited the sheep photo by choosing the "Normal" effect as well as a colored wrap (I matched the part of the canvas that wraps around the very outside of the frame to the overall background color of the original photo.) I think it made the photo look more like a painting, which is what I wanted all along.

What do you think?

Sheep paintings are a huge trend in farmhouse decor right now, although they're too expensive for my budget. This canvas fit the bill perfectly. I am absolutely in love. My family, on the other hand, thinks I'm a nut. Sheep -- really, mom? Yes!

And these sheep are definitely in good company. They'll be sharing the stage with another farmhouse canvas that I love -- my farmhouse cow wall art canvas, also from Canvas Factory.

Sheep are so cuddly. I am a subscriber and so enjoy your creative ideas and decorating style. I too am in the redecorating phase due to water damage from a slow leak on the washing machine:(
