I WIll Spend My Heaven Doing Good Upon Earth

Wow.  I didn't know she said that.  Saint Therese of Lisieux, France, that is.  Otherwise known as The Little Flower.  I should have known since this is my second charm necklace featuring a vintage Saint Therese medal plus vintage bling.  You can read about her and the first one I made here.


I will spend my heaven doing good upon earth. 

Who among us has the foresight and wisdom, not to mention maturity (she was very young when she said this) and saintliness (I know not I!) to be able to say those words?

It's like she already knew she'd become a saint. 



The back of the medal actually has those words inscribed on it.  I'm loving that about it.


The front of the medal pictures her holding a crucifix while it says Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus.



I will spend my heaven doing good upon earth.   


 To think she's up there somewhere watching over us.  At least I HOPE she's watching over me.

    Hi Kathy, It's said that if you pray for St. Therese to intercede for you, she'll send you a sign, a shower of roses... the scent of or actual roses. I have a story of my own...I beleive she still does spend her heaven here on earth! Your work is beautiful! Love, Penny
