Welcome, friends, to another fun-filled Thrill of the Hunt post where I
share my latest thrifty (and usually) vintage finds with you.

My hope is that by sharing my thrifty finds I can motivate and inspire you
to explore your own local thrift stores, estate sales, flea markets and barn
sales, and make your own fabulous finds for yourself! So let's get started.
This rare McCoy yellow bowl planter is from their 1964 Crestwood Line. I've
had this McCoy yellow pottery bowl for years. I can't even remember when and
where I bought it. But I know I loved the Greek key design engraved on
it.
The maker's mark -- McCoy USA -- is very clear on the bottom.
Just look at that detail!
Can be used as a table centerpiece (fill it with flowers) or planter.
Maybe even use it as a candle holder or candy bowl? Either way, it's an
awesome piece of McCoy pottery that no collector should be without.
The McCoy yellow bowl planter is
AVAILABLE.
I'm always happy when I come across vintage real glass Christmas ornaments
at a thrift store. These 15 ornaments cost me $1.99.
They were in pretty much perfect condition.
I always love seeing the typography on vintage ornament boxes like this
one.
The original price was $2.99.
I was going to list them in my
Etsy shop , but in the end decided to keep them. I used them this past Christmas on
one of our three Christmas trees!
And last but not least. I was thrilled to come across this gorgeous
vintage (or vintage-inspired) framed botanical print at Goodwill. I shared
it as part of my
fall bedroom decor reveal.
The soft colors and shabby chic gold frame definitely drew me
in.
And the cathedral arches make for the perfect backdrop. Right now
it's hanging in my office. Who knows where it'll end up next!
Well, that's it for today, friends!
I hope you've enjoyed reading about

ReplyDeleteBeautiful finds, Kathleen!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the thrill of the hunt each time I go...it's the BEST!!
I always love to see the cool things you find. Happy Wednesday have a great week. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love reading and seeing your Thrill of the Hunt items. I had to smile when I saw your red glass Christmas ornaments. I still attend the little Country Church that my Daddy built way back in the '60s. We have three large storage totes of these ornaments, in three sizes that we decorate our tree with every year. We have red, blue, green, silver and gold ones. I'm glad you love yours as much as I love ours!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds. Really like the floral print. I'm leaning more toward cottage-core style and that picture fits right in! That McCoy planter is lovely. I prefer glass ornaments to plastic--except on the bottom of the tree so cats can't do damage! You can always put them in your store....later!
