Here they are sitting pretty on our farmhouse kitchen table in a thrift store wooden tool box. The plan is to paint the tool box white, I just haven't had the chance yet. I love how my other one turned out, so I really do want to paint this one, too. The box fits just right on the burlap runner I hand-stenciled a while back. The runner has become one of my most favorite DIY projects of all time. It seems to go with everything.
Inside the box are three small vintage milk bottles that fit so perfectly I just had to use them for vases.
Isn't it darling? It was a real score - I picked it up roadside from a neighbor's house right before they moved. Along with 29 of it's closest friends in a fabulous vintage wire milk bin! I'll be sharing them in another post, you just gotta see 'em! I scored some other equally great stuff along with them, but that's for another day.
I'm so happy that we are not experiencing the drought this year that we did last year. Good rainfall makes for good hydrangeas! They'll be featured here soon, too, I promise. Right now I'm starting to gear up for an arts and crafts show this September in Geneva, IL. I'll keep you posted!
