My Funny Valentine

February 10, 2010

I usually don't post my photos this big but I wanted you to be able to read this vintage Valentine's Day card.  Okay, so maybe you STILL can't read it.  "Love's Greeting.  Love climbs up and love falls down, Love can smile and love can frown, Let thy love now smile on mine, And be my own dear Valentine."  How cute is that?  I hope that my wonderful hubby reads this and knows that it's for him :)

I love finding images on www.photobucket.com.  This one's from Tammy_M.  Thanks, Tammy!  I'll be posting a few more V-Day clip art images between now and the 14th.  It gives me a few more chances to say Happy Valentine's Day to my man.

On another note, we had an earthquake here last night in the middle of the night. Yes, I said eArthqUaKe!  Right here in Illinois!  Who would have thought it possible?  Certainly not me!  3.8 on the richter scale.  Scared the crap (for lack of a better word) out of me at 4:00 a.m..  Even though we're half an hour away from the epicenter of the quake, our house shook.  One day a foot of snow, the next an earthquake.  What IS the world coming to?

I'll be posting less (read: none) photos on my blog until I get my fancy camera back from the manufacturer.  I feel oddly helpless without it.  Sad, I know.  Maybe it's God's way of actually allowing me time to make jewelry.  Can you imagine?  Keep your fingers crossed on this one.

I still have a sick one, poor chickadee.  She has to miss her class V-Day party tomorrow.  Pretty big deal when you're in the third grade.  Ah, those were the days.  Time to take care of the kiddos.  Here's to uninterrupted sleep and a better tomorrow.  Ciao.
