Easy Spring Decor Using Test Tubes as Flower Vases

April 17, 2013

I love Goodwill.  Can I ever say that enough?  It never ceases to amaze me how I
always manage to find incredibly fashionable home decor at my local Goodwill
stores.  And this time it was a perfect
spring decor find.  Case in point.

No, not the tulips.  But the laboratory flower vase, well, yes!
The original store tags were still on it.
This type of vase has been quite popular-dare-I-say-trendy over the past year or
so, and I love it. Despite the fact that I never did like chemistry lab my junior year
in high school (sorry to disappoint you, Sister Lucilla!) I still think this is a great way
to display flowers.

Goodwill: $1.99
Savings: $23.00

I recently bought the exact same vase at GW but I paid $2.95. Here's mine if you want to take a peak: http://www.virginiasweetpea.com/2013/04/goodwill-find-updated-with-paint.html
