I can't seem to get this reverse chalk transfer method out of my system ever since I created
Love the little things.
I've been thinking about that saying for a while now, and really wanted to put
it out there for daily consumption. I think it expresses a sentiment that we all
need to be reminded of.
It's so easy to get caught up in the hustle, bustle and sometimes just plain drudgery
of everyday life and really miss out on the little things in the process.
I won't venture to tell you what your little things are, for I suspect you already know.
But I WILL tell you what they are for me.
Love the little things.
Like $1.00 McDonald's diet Cokes.
Or a wheaten terrier puppy who loves you no matter what.
Like all 5 of us sitting around the dinner table together at night.
Or a warm blanket and a cup of vanilla caramel tea on a bitterly cold day.
Or a reflective Sunday morning spent in church.
(And the free donuts following!)
Or being able to blog about what I love.
The list goes on, but I think you get the gist.
Right now for many of us it's the Lenten season.
What better time to just sit back and love the little things?
I'll be back with a tutorial on how to make mini-bunting later in the week.
Until then, I hope you get the chance to
love at least some of the little things.

Beautiful job Kathleen on your chalkboard, and your bunting is darling. So crafty and creative!
I love what you did here Kathleen! So cute!
So true! I love your inspirational chalkboard and the sweet mini bunting too. Thanks Kathleen for sharing at Vintage Inspiration Party.
Kathleen, this is just
delightful! I bet it makes
you so happy whenever
you pass by. I pinned it
and hope to copy someday.
My chalkboard is way too
small for more than a couple
of words.
Love the bunting, too!

I love your "little" chalkboard! You are right, we need to pause and appreciate the little things. Thank you for sharing it at What We Accomplished Wednesdays. Blessings, Deborah
