Yes, I'll say it. Candy corn is growing in my garden. And no, I'm not crazy. I've just discovered a new-to- me plant known as Manettia inflata, or Candy Corn Vine.

I'm a HUGE lover of French provincial style furniture -- elegant and classic. Which is why I've been on the hunt for the past few years for a second French provincial style bedside table. I found my first one at a barn sale in my town a few years ago.

This might sound crazy -- but sometimes I'll buy a vintage item, like a 1970's vintage bamboo and rattan tissue box cover, without thinking things through first. You know, things like: will a standard tissue box fit inside it?  

Seems like a simple enough question. That is, if you actually ask the question and figure out the answer before purchasing it. Not what happened here. However, there is a happy ending to this story.
