Farmhouse Friday #2: Three New Things

September 8, 2017

Welcome to Farmhouse Friday #2! For those of you that have been out of the loop, I'm in the process of gathering ideas for a living room/dining room renovation/re-decoration. And the style is modern farmhouse. So in case you missed it, I'll start off sharing my very first farmhouse moodboard from last Friday.

This week I'd like to share Farmhouse Moodboard #2. The pictures on it represent decor items that I feel would make great additions to any modern farmhouse. Everyone probably has their own definition and vision of what "farmhouse" style means to them. These items represent a small glimpse into what I consider to be my personal modern farmhouse style.

You can get to each item just by clicking on its name. I've provided the labove two lists for your shopping convenience. A purchase of any of these items helps to support this blog and its creative efforts at no cost to you. To learn more, please see my disclosure pageI ultimately plan on having a comprehensive farmhouse Moodboard but for now I will be sharing in weekly installments.

I've been wanting to get white slipcovers for our two wingback chairs for f-o-r-e-v-e-r. But they're so expensive and our chairs are recliners. All of the slipcovers I've seen say they're best for wingbacks with "T" cushions. But our reclining wingbacks don't have "T" cushions, so I'm a bit apprehensive about buying slipcovers for them online. But since I haven't seen them anywhere else I'll be ordering the slipcovers listed above and see how it goes. Has anyone else experienced this or am I the only one? I already have white slipcovers for our couch and chair-and-a-half.

If you told me a few years ago that I would fall in love with farm animal art I would have told you that you were crazy! Stranger things have happened, though, because I really do like it. While my farmhouse cow wall art was created by me through a photo canvas company, there are many other pre-made versions out there to choose from, like the one above.

Here's mine. I'm partial to the Scottish Highland breed.

And here's my sweet sheep trio canvas I recently received from Canvas Factory. If you're interested and haven't entered already, you can visit my Farmhouse Sheep Wall Art post and enter a giveaway to win one for yourself! (Giveaway closes at 12:00 a.m. (CST) on Wednesday 09/15/17.)

And there you have it! So far I've shared six farmhouse decor items that I plan on using in my own home. Do you own any already? Have any favorites? I'd love to know.
