Now that Halloween is over, the holidays will be here before we know it! If you're like me and prefer to get Christmas crafting done early, check out the darling Homemade Kraft Paper Gingerbread Man Advent Calendar that Claire from Pillar Box Blue created. Since fall is my favorite time of year I've been known to become giddy with anticipation for all things pumpkin -- and that includes the pumpkin patch. Amy from A Day of Small Things reminded me of that with her lovely recounting of a day at Carter's Mountain Orchard in Charlottesville, Virginia. This place has it all: pumpkins, apples, cider donuts and glorious mountain views. It made me reminiscent of the days when our children were little and we would go on similar adventures as a family.
