The first Dollar Tree treasure I want to share is this collapsible canvas storage container.
While it comes in many different patterns, as well as solids, I was drawn to this blue and white floral pattern.
While not huge, their 9 x 9 x 8 size makes them versatile for many different areas of the home. Right now I'm using them to hold dog treats and other dog supplies in my laundry room.
I bought a few cubes, and plan to go back and get a few more! I can always use storage containers, especially if they're as pretty as these!
Next up: Ribbed (or reeded), colored glass accessories are all the rage -- think drinking glasses, bowls, candlesticks. Reeded glass, sometimes called fluted glass, has been around since the late 1800's. It became a hallmark of the 1920s–40s Art Deco era. Then it saw a mid-century revival, and is now a popular decor choice once again.
I was literally stopped in my tracks when I saw these burnt amber ribbed glass candlesticks.
Talk about a prime example of something you don't have to pay a premium for, despite the fact that it's "in" home decor these days.
They made the perfect addition to the basket tray on the coffee table.
The swan and lamb's ear garland added texture and visible interest.
The third Dollar Tree treasure I want to share with you today is this "Cob Push Light," otherwise known as a puck light.
It adheres to any surface, and turns on and off just by pressing the middle of the light. Three AAA batteries and you're good to go.
They can be used in closets, underneath cabinets and anywhere you need just a tad of extra light.
I've been on the hunt for some vintage fairy lamps that'll make the absolute BEST receptacle for these puck lights! They're super expensive, unless I can find one in a thrift store -- fingers crossed!
I know not all Dollar Tree stores carry the same merchandise at the same time. Even so, it's my hope that what you read about here in my Dollar Tree Treasures posts will inspire you to keep an eye out for similar items that you can use in your own home and/or as part of your own DIY decor projects.Well, that's it for today, friends!
