Hot summer days call for cooling summer drinks -- like my favorite cold brew Earl Grey tea with lavender vanilla cold foam.
Along with my favorite sun tea and diet strawberry lemonade cocktail recipes, this recipe is one for the history books, folks.

INGREDIENTS FOR COLD BREW EARL GREY TEA
1. 2 Quart Pitcher2. wooden spoon(s) or spatula
4. Your favorite brand Earl Grey tea bags. I used 13 tea bags in all:
2 Tazo Organic Earl Grey tea bags
3 Dammann Freres (decaf) tea bags
4 Twinings Earl Grey Black Tea bags
4 Earl Grey Paris sachets by Harney and Sons, totalling 13 tea bags in all.
The size of your pitcher and your tea strength preference = how many tea bags you end up using; you can mix and match brands, as well as caffeinated and decaffeinated tea bags (as I did).
You can also purchase large cold brew Earl Grey tea bags from Harney and Sons (not an affiliate; just wanted to share).
5. Jordan's Skinny Mixes Vanilla Bean Syrup
6. Collins Lavender Simple Syrup
7. Heavy whipping cream
8. Can of Vanilla Cold Foam Creamer
9. Small cup to use as creamer cup (where to do the frothing)
10. Ice cubes

4. Place pitcher outside in the sun for 20 minutes.
4. Refrigerate with tea bags still in place overnight.
5. Once fully brewed the next day remove all tea bags.
Now you're ready to begin making the cold brew tea with lavender and vanilla foam!

4. Cover bottom of creamer cup with Collins Lavender Simple Syrup.
My creamer cup is a thrifted ($2.99) vintage Arcoroc France Octime glass creamer. It currently sells on Etsy for $20.00.

5. Add 1-2 tbsp heavy whipping cream to the simple syrup.
6. Froth it for one minute or until thickened with peaks using your Aerolatte Moo.
7. Pour heavy cream froth over top of tea mixture.
8. Add vanilla cold foam in concentric circles on the very top of your creation.
As the froth melts, it settles down into the tea and creates a glorious, almost milkshake-like taste and texture with just a hint of lavender. I highly recommend using a straw for the best experience once it appears that the froth/foam has started to settle. It is yummy!
Experiment with different tea flavors, syrups and cold foam flavors! Pumpkin spice, anyone?
