Vintage Inspired Freshly Squeezed Lemonade Serving Trays

Sam's Club vintage inspired "Lemonade" serving trays

I know some people are talking about Christmas in July sales and the fact that
Hobby Lobby is already selling fall décor items. But not me. For me, summer
isn't over until the first leaf falls. I guess I'm in the minority, but in light of
the Midwest winters we've experienced, I'm not all that antsy for
old man winter to arrive. To the contrary, I'll be basking in all things summer for
a few more months. And yes, it's still terribly hot here in late September!

So today I wanted to share with you some vintage-inspired serving trays my
husband picked up for me at Sam's Club. Yes, Sam's Club. I think all three
cost around $10.00 in the back-of- the-store clearance section. I recently
shared the largest tray in my last post on summer pillows.

Here it sits in the middle of the ottoman/coffee table. It's a great platform on
which to display my hydrangeas in my beloved vintage ironstone pitcher.

And here are some close-ups of the blue tray, as well as of the other two
that came with the set.

They even made it looked distressed! That's my kind of paint job.

The medium sized tray is a bright, cheery yellow. Does anyone remember when
lemonade only cost 10 cents a glass? I guess those were the days.

The third and smallest tray is more of a lime green. It's the perfect size to put by
the door and place sunglasses and keys in. Looking at these sunny trays I feel
like making some sun tea myself and serving it in my small vintage milk bottles!

As I said in my last post, I can't believe I'm breaking out of my whites/neutrals
mode and adding in pops of color. But I love it! And these trays certainly helped.
Who knows when and where the next colors will appear?
 Stay tuned!

I'm going to call you the Deal Diva! Your trays are so cute! The pops of color really say Summer. Those were the days; weren't they? I remember 10 cent lemonade! I haven't been to Hobby Lobby in a long time- you have really sparked my interest with these adorable trays!

Nothing says summer like lemonade and these trays say it very well! We're having a summer for the record books here and I'm going to enjoy every last second of it! Then I'll think about fall!

Our Sam's club never has stuff like that, never has a clearance table. I'm mad at them. It's like when I go to Target's $bin aisle and they never have all the good stuff you bloggers talk about. I go hurrying in there to nothing. I even ask clerks and they look at me like I"m crazy, have no idea what I'm talking about. Well fudge.
Your trays are so darned cute, would love to have set of them. Each one is so special and cute. They'd be wonderful for back yard, porch, picnic, you name it. Enjoy your adorable trays for those of us that live without all these goodies. ok? Happy week
Trays would look so cute hanging on wall together.

Your trays are so cute! They definitely say "summer". I love your pink hydrangeas too. They look so pretty with your pink and white pillows on the sofa. I bring out color every now and then in my neutral home too. It's all a matter of what mood I'm in.
