Vintage Charm Party #72 and February Feature of the Month

March 2, 2017

Thanks to all who linked up last week. And if you're new here, welcome! We appreciate each and every one of you who continue to come back and party with us. We're in constant awe of your creativity and talent. And once again we can't wait to see what vintage goodies, finds and projects you all have to share with us today.

But first, let's find out what blog post was chosen as February's Feature of the Month.

February Feature of the Month

Congratulations Goes to....

Debby Goes Shabby!

We all fell in love with Debby Goes Shabby's sumptuous Valentine's "magazine cover" featuring a vintage, shabby chic dresser filled with velvety red roses. It's also perfectly charming and wonderfully romantic. Thanks for linking up Enchanted Moments with us, Debby!

Now let's see what our hostesses have been up to this week!

Weekly Features

It's been difficult for us to choose just one feature each. Your vintage finds, vignettes and just plain creativity have been awesome!

Sherry from Savvy Apron won my heart over last week with her DIY Chandelier Floor Lamp. I bought a thrift store chandelier many months ago, and have been looking for just the right upcycle solution.I think I've found it, and you will, too. It's a simple tutorial with a stunning outcome. Thanks, Sherry!

Charged with the task of refreshing her parents' laundry room, Kristine from The Painted Hive needed a solution to hide their washing machine. Their laundry room adjoins the main hallway in their house and doesn't have a dedicated door so it is entirely in the open. Her solution was to DIY a mini barn door cover-up for the washing machine. She shares her wonderful tutorial with us so that we can install our own mini barn doors in place of ordinary door wherever space permits. Check it out at DIY Mini Barn Doors...A Complete Tutorial.

In her weekly Creative Friday post, Cecilia, blogger at The B Farm, shared her latest project -- an upcycled box she created to store her tea in. It's a beauty and you'll enjoy seeing how she transformed the container. But just wait until you see the photos from her trip to England that inspired the project. In Time For Tea, Cecilia takes us on a tour from Bath to London to Stonehenge to the picturesque village where she captured this lovely cottage.  Her photos are simply charming. Hop over to see the beauty yourself!

Last week, Penny from Penny's Vintage Home repurposed a Wicker Settee that had seen better days in such a delightfully creative way. I love outside-the-box thinking and this is such a great example of that. Using plants and decorative items purchased at garage sales, she frugally put together a stunning display.
