Dollar Tree Treasures #22

October 10, 2022

Today I'm sharing my most recent Dollar Tree finds.

Welcome to Dollar Tree Treasures #22! Dollar Tree stores are a great go-to spot for many DIY home decor enthusiasts on a budget. Stick around while I share my Dollar Tree insider knowledge with you as I find new and noteworthy Dollar Tree items that you, too, can use to beautify your home.

net bag of wood stems from Dollar Tree

I stopped dead in my tracks when I spied these babies on the bottom shelf in the craft aisle. Wood stems can be used for many a craft project (hello How To Make Jute Twine Pumpkins) and are NOT cheap at craft stores. Hence my giddiness.

two packages faux leather leaves from Dollar Tree

Faux leather leaves . . . . . who would have thunk? (They also had faux leather mini pumpkins which I declined.) I think I'll use these for a unique fall wreath I have in the works and will share soon.

white wood bead garlands with monogrammed wooden leaves and gold filigree clip on leaves

Leaves, leaves and more leaves. I had hoped to get four wooden leaves with the letters "F-A-L-L" but no go. So, in the alternative, I just grabbed two of them and plan to decorate them like my friend Linda from Paper Seedlings did. Check them out in her blog post Wooden Leaves and Tenth Blogiversary

I'm also loving the gold filigree leaf clips. They, too, can be used on fall wreaths and garlands.

trick or treat candy corn sign and mini Halloween signs from Dollar Tree

Dollar Tree is no slouch when it comes to seasonal signs. They have consistently upped their game in that department for the last few years. I thought the candy corn Trick Or Treat sign was pretty unique, and the mini Halloween sign duo is just perfect for adding that unobtrusive Halloween flair.

dia de los muertos solar stake light from Dollar Tree

Dollar Tree really embraces Dia de los Meurtos around this time of year. I bought these solar stake lights for my college-aged daughter who lives in a house and likes to decorate it and the yard for Halloween.

orange mesh light up pumpkin from Dollar Tree

I also purchased this mesh LED pumpkin for her and her sister. I mean, how cute is this?

Happy Halloween orange felt garland with black cats from Dollar Tree

I didn't open up this felt Happy Halloween garland package because it's also for my one of my daughters. But again, how cute is this?

black metal candlesticks buffalo check ribbon silver bottlebrush trees

Not to switch gears here, but I'm switching gears. From Halloween to Christmas, that is. I can't believe that I found silver bottle brush trees next to the Halloween decor!

While the black candle holders are meant for Halloween, I see them more as for year round. I might just use them as part of my Christmas decor this year, as I'm contemplating a neutral palette and I think black factors into that quite well.

black metal candlesticks with buffalo check ribbon

And who can deny that black and white buffalo check ribbon is a real life saver when it comes to decorating for Christmas? It can be used for crafts as well as for gift wrapping.

I know that not all Dollar Tree stores carry the same merchandise at the same time. Even so, it's my hope that what you read about here in my Dollar Tree Treasures posts will inspire you to keep an eye out for similar items that you can use in your own home or as part of your own DIY decor projects.

Well, that's it for today, friends!
