One thing I love about Christmas decorating is that you get to bring the outdoors in. From the Christmas tree, to garlands, to swags, to wreaths -- these natural elements can literally become the foundation of your decor. And with all the fabulous faux greenery that's out there today you can certainly use that, too! This year I'm using my vintage wooden tool caddy as a Christmas centerpiece on my farmhouse kitchen table. Stick around and I'll show you just how I did it and what I used to achieve the look.

I finally broke down and bought some of those pre-lit faux branches that have been gaining in popularity for the past few years now. You know the ones. They're long branches that have little battery-operated lights already attached to them. Some branches are white or silver, and some are natural-looking. Some have glitter or even "snow" on them.
