Adding a warm and cozy fall vibe to your decor doesn't have to be difficult or expensive. Using things you probably already have in your stash, you can create a warm look to last throughout the fall season.
Whether it's a wreath made with fresh or faux fall florals, a basket filled with fall florals, or maybe even a chinoiserie ginger jar filled with rustic autumnal florals, it all speaks volumes as to your own personal decorating style, as well as how you embrace the season.
In my opinion, one of the BEST florals to use in the fall is dried hydrangeas.
If you're lucky enough to have some hydrangeas growing in your garden then you're all set.
But even if you don't, that's ok, too. Because today you can find some super authentic looking faux hydrangeas that would definitely foot the bill.
Placing them in a wicker vase is just another way to add a warm element to the arrangement, evoking all the fall feels.
You can also pull together what you have and see what you can create with it. I got this plain wreath on clearance at Target and "spruced" it up with inexpensive floral picks. You can read about it in Deconstructed Fall Wreath.
If you're anything like me, you have more than a few baskets lying around the house just waiting to be styled for the season. I had such fun creating this vignette with mini pumpkins, chinoiserie ginger jars, fall floral picks and a thrifted wicker basket tray. Read about how I put it all together in Chinoiserie Fall Tray Decor.
Speaking of baskets, they can be as instrumental as wreaths in making your fall decor statement. Here I mixed faux floral picks with a Dollar Tree sign and a thrifted vintage French wall basket. Read about how I put it all together in Vintage French Wall Basket Filled with Fall Flowers.
I once fell in love with a church rummage sale wreath that was just a tad too y-e-l-l-o-w and boring for my taste, but I could see its potential. After adding some orange and white pumpkins, as well as a few Dollar Tree persimmon picks, this wreath was all-on ready for fall decor display. The transformation can be seen at Easy DIY Fall Wreath.
Last but not least, I present to you a somewhat non-traditional fall floral arrangement -- faux orange hops sprays bursting out of a large swan planter. This is one of my absolute favorite fall floral arrangements. I will be featuring it in an upcoming post and sharing how I created this fall dining room centerpiece.
Hopefully my examples prove to you that just about anything is possible when it comes to creating fall floral arrangements. The sky's the limit, whether it's a basket, a wreath or even a swan planter. It's up to you.
Well, that's it for today, friends!
